Cutest Thing Ever!

So now that I have my camera, I'm shopping for accessories for it lol. I found this website that has camera strap covers. They are the cutest things ever! Plus they are padded so the strap won't hurt my neck lol. Here's the website for them: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6751142&order=&section_id=&page=1.
I got this one:

New Camera!

I'm so excited: I got my new camera!! My dad has actually been working a few days the past couple weeks, and my parents decided that we could use his paycheck to get me a camera! It's the Nikon D40, the one I always wanted. It was a frustrating day trying to find it though. We went to Costco, and they didn't have it. Then Best Buy, Target, and Wal Mart-still nothing. So then we went down to Burbank. My parent's were trying to find a store called Ritz Camera's, but we couldn't find it. So then we went to Fry's- they had no Nikon's whatsoever! So then we went to the Best Buy down there-once again, no Nikon D40. But they did have a really great deal on a Sony camera that was originally $700, but it had been returned and had been sitting there since Christmas and we could have gotten it for $525. My mom was trying to talk me into that, but I really wanted a Nikon. I didn't know anything about the Sony camera, so I didn't want to get it lol. So then we were all grumpy and hungry, so we headed to Valencia and ate dinner at Johnny Rockets, and then went to the Best Buy there-FINALLY they had the Nikon D4o! Actually, they had like 10 of them! LOL. I was so happy to finally get it! After I got it, we went over to my dad's boss's house, since they live there, and his wife Emily is a photographer so I wanted to show her my camera and talk to her about it lol. It turned into a long, tiring day, which I did not want because I was miserably sick, but I'm happy I finally have my camera! I haven't really taken any pictures yet though, just a couple of my brother in the car and my dog when we got home lol. I can't wait to go somewhere where I can take lots of pictures! :)

San Diego

So I already blogged about the Taylor Swift concert, but we also did other stuff while in San Diego. My mom, Ashley, and I got down to San Diego Sunday morning. We went to our hotel, but we couldn't check in yet, so we went to Seaport Village to get lunch and look at all the shops. Then we went back to our hotel to start getting ready for the concert :) My aunt Jill and my cousins Becca, Megan, and Kelsey got there just a little bit after we started getting ready and they got ready too. Then before the concert we all went out to eat at TGIF. Then it was concert time! lol. The next day we woke up around 9 and started getting ready to check out of the hotel. We ate a quick breakfast, and then started our day. We went to Horton Plaza and parked our cars there, but unfortunately for me we didn't get to shop :( lol. My aunt Jill wanted to take the metro thing, whatever it's called, I forgot lol. So we took that to get downtown and by then we were all hungry for lunch lol. We found a Joe's Crab Shack to eat at. It was soo good, I love that place haha. Then we walked around downtown for a while, got some ice cream, and then headed back to our cars to all go home. It was a pretty nice weekend. Of course the Taylor Swift concert was the best part of it by far lol. It was nice to get away from the A.V. for a few days though :)

Yearbook Distribution

We gave out the yearbooks today! It was so exciting, all of us yearbook staff were so anxious lol. We passed them out right after school, at 2:30, but people were trying to come into the gym early and get it. We had to keep yelling at people to get out LOL. By 2:30 there was already a huge line of kids waiting haha. Everyone loves the yearbook too, we've gotten so many compliments on it. That makes me so proud lol. So now this yearbook is officially completely done, and now my mind is constantly thinking about what to do for next years yearbook lol.

I love these girls

TAYLOR SWIFT-San Diego Sports Arena

OH. MY. GOODNESS.
BEST CONCERT EVERRRR!

I had a BLAST!! Taylor Swift is AMAZZZZING! I went with Ashley, and my cousins Becca and Kelsey. We had awesome seats too! We were on the floor, a little bit to the side of the stage in like the 3rd row. We could see everything. When we got there a band called Gloriana was performing. They were good, I had never heard of them though lol. Then Kellie Pickler came on! Oh my gosh, she was freakin adorable! I love her. She sang just a few songs, but they were all songs that I knew and so fun to dance and sing along to lol. Then we sat there for a while while people set up Taylor's stage. They put up people's text messages that they could text to this number on the big screens, it was funny lol. Then finally, Taylor Swift came out!! She opened the show with "You Belong With Me" and she was wearing a band outfit and all the dancers were wearing cheer outfits lol. It was so cute. Then her dancers ripped off her band outfit and she had on a cute sparkly dress. It was so good, every song was like a story, with costumes and everything. She even wore her renaissance type dress for "Love Story", and then people ripped that dress off of her on stage too, and she had on a white dress underneath lol. Gosh, it was just so good, that's all I can say about it lol. She went to the back of the arena for a few songs and took like 20 minutes to come back to the stage because she was hugging everyone. I was so jealous lol. It was so cute though, you could see her on the big screen telling girls that they're beautiful and stuff. At one point, the entire arena was screaming SO LOUD, I could feel it ringing in my ears. It lasted for so long, and she started crying. When it finally stopped, she says "San Diego, I promise you, I will never forget that." It was SO cute! LOL. And whenever she would go backstage to change, she would show these videos that were so funny! I loved the one about all the guys she wrote songs about lol, it was hilarious. During "Change", cute heart confetti came down on us, I picked some up and put it in my purse as a souvenir LOL. She ended with "Should've Said No", and at the end of the song rain came down and she was under it. I was so sad when it was over, I wanted it to go on forever :( lol. I will definitely be at every one of her tours from now on lol.
