More Scrapbook...

I've been addicted lately lol.

Friday

Yesterday was a fun day. At lunch we had a BBQ for the seniors, people that volunteered at the school auction, and yearbook staff lol. So I got to have it :) It was really good! Mr. Thomas makes good burgers haha. Then after school Ash came over and we went through all my scrapbooking stuff since I don't do traditional scrapbooking anymore and so I gave a lot of papers to Ash, but then I showed her how to digital scrapbook and she really liked that too haha. So I gave her my photoshop so she could install it on her computer and try to digital scrapbook. Then I made some brownies while she took a shower, because she fried her hair the other day so I told her to use this conditioning treatment I have lol. Then we watched In Her Shoes and had brownies :) It was a fun night and day.

Haircut

So, I finally got my haircut today lol. I hadn't had a haircut since Thanksgiving...I HATE getting my haircut, it's scary lol. I'm always afraid they'll cut too much off. And all week I had been debating whether or not to get bangs...I was, of course, scared to get them lol. But in the end, I did get them, and it's pretty cute. I like it. And my hair feels so much healthier, no more split ends! lol.

First Day of Spring!

Long Week

Ahh, this week is finally over! I am exhausted. Tuesday Ashley and I went with the boys volleyball teams down to a school near L.A. to take pictures for the yearbook. It was a really nice school, and some of the guys were pretty cute lol. Ash and I were like "let's transfer!" haha. So that night we were out pretty late, I got home close to 10. Then Wednesday after school, Ashley and I went to a photography class at William Edwards with our yearbook advisor and another girl on yearbook. It was such a great class! We learned SO much in just 2 hours. We could have been there all day lol. Then from there I went straight to the mall to have dinner with my family for my brother's birthday. He's 15 now, I can't believe it! Then we walked around the mall and got my dad and brother Cub's shirts for the Cub's game. They left yesterday for Arizona to go to a pre-season game. They'll be there until tomorrow, so my mom and I are on our own. We went out to eat at Chili's tonight and then went to Target. I needed to exchange the bathing suit Ashley got my for my birthday for another size, but I couldn't find my size, so I ended up getting another bathing suit lol. Now I'm finally home and all I want to do is lay in bed and catch up on shows from this week :) lol.

Sad :(

Alexis was voted off :( I'm so sad, I really loved her; she was one of my favorites. I thought she could have been one of the finalists... Sad :(

Makeover

So I was bored....and avoiding homework lol...and I came across this makeover website (dailymakeover.com) lol. You take a pic of yourself, and then can try on all these different hairstyles and makeup and stuff. It's hilarious, and pretty fun LOL. I am way long over-due for a haircut, and now I think I'm going to try this new style when I go get it cut (whenever that will be lol). Anyways, here's my makeover! haha

Soccer Game

Today I went with my mom and Ashley to Downey for a soccer game. It was the CIF regional finals, or something like that lol. It's a really big deal, it's like one step below state championships. And of course, WE WON!! :) I'm so happy and excited for our team. I swear our girls are the best. This is the 3rd year in a row that they won CIF championships, and then this year they decided to go even farther and they are still winning! They haven't decided if they want to go to state championships yet though, but I really hope they do.

Then after the game, since we were in Downey we stopped by my grandma's house since it's only about 30 minutes away. My grandma was redoing the upstairs master bathroom lol. She has redone every bathroom in the house in the past few years lol. Then we went to Del Amo Mall to go to Macy's. I wanted to look at shoes for prom, and my grandma had a $10 coupon thing for Macy's. I found some shoes I love, but they were kind of expensive and not on sale, so I'm going to wait a couple more weeks.

Bestie's Day

So today Ash and I had a "Bestie's Day" lol. We haven't had one in a loooong time. A "Bestie's Day" is when we go to the mall, shop for hours, try on at least one funny/ugly thing, take photo booth pictures, and eat a pretzel and See's candy :) lol. I love Bestie's Days. I got a couple cute shirts for summer, and a pair of shorts, and Ash got a cute top too. Then at Tilly's, the funny/ugly thing we tried on was this one piece bathing suit, but it was like all cut-out and stuff, it was hilarious. I was like, I am not coming out in this, so Ash ran to my dressing room and then she got in trouble for coming into my dressing room LOL. And then, when we went to go get Ash's pretzel (we have to go to Pretzel Time for her, and Wetzel's Pretzels for me lol) we saw that they had a "NOW HIRING" sign on the counter lol. So I told her she should ask for an application, so she did. So while we ate our pretzels she filled it out. It was so funny. She needed to put 3 references of people she has known for over a year that aren't related to her, that worked, and we were like, but none of our friends work! LOL. So she put my mom, our friend Lexy who graduated a couple years ago that works at the hospital and then we sat there forever trying to think of a 3rd person and we ended up putting a guy John from school, he's a lifeguard at the city pool lol. I took a pic of her application, but she told me I can't put it on here because it has all her private info. I think she'd be a cute pretzel girl :) lol.

**Funny moment of today: While in Dillard's, I smell a perfume and say to Ashley "Mmm, this smells good! Smell it." Then I put it to her nose, she smells it, and then looks all seriously at me and says, "Thank you." LOL. Freakin hilarious.

American Idol

This is the first year that I have so many favorites! There actually isn't anyone that I don't like this year, but I have a top five lol- Danny, Allison, Alexis, Kris, and Megan. Danny is just amazing, Allison freakin rocks, Alexis is SO great, Kris I just love...and he's a freakin HOTTIE lol, and Megan is so unique and different, I love her! This is going to be a great season :)

Doctors

I finally went to the doctors today. I have a sinus infection :( I seriously get one this time of year every year. The doctor was like so the medicine isn't working? And I was like, I haven't gotten any yet lol Then she looked back at the computer and was like, oh it says February 27th 2008! lol. So almost exactly a year ago I was there. I don't know what to do to prevent me from getting it, it's so frustrating. And then while I was there, they said I was behind on shots, so I had to get 2 shots :( So now my arm is super sore. But now I have my antibiotics, and I'll hopefully be back at school tomorrow. And hopefully I won't be sick again for a LONG LONG time! lol

Sick again :(

So I am sick, once again. I seriously hate winter, I'm sick like the whole season. I have another horrible cold and my sinuses hurt like heck =/ It's SO miserable. So today Ash was going to just come over, because she has a cold too, and we were just going to spend the day watching movies in bed, but then other plans came up and I was feeling so miserable, it just didn't work out. I ended up going to the movies with my mom, we saw Slumdog Millionaire. It was SO good, I loved it!

Ever since it won so many awards at the Oscars I wanted to go see it. I figured it must be really good, and it definitely was! One of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Then after the movie, our friends came over. We hadn't done anything with them in so long, so they just came over for dinner and to hang out for a while. It was a nice day, I just wish I wasn't sick. I would have enjoyed today more if I wasn't so miserable :( I just hope I'm better by Monday. I can't miss anymore school...

Bored...

So I decided to curl my hair and figure out how I want to wear my hair for prom lol. I don't want my hair all down this year, because I did that last year and by the end of the night it was a mess lol. But I don't want it completely up either. So this is kind of what I'm thinking of doing...

Maybe with a cute headband or flower or something? lol.

Happy Birthday to me! :)

I'm excited to be 17, since it's my favorite number lol. My mom took me out to lunch today, to Jalapeno Grill, and then we had a party in yearbook. Ashley and Mrs. Puglia both made me super yummy cakes. And when my dad picked me up from school he brought me flowers, a card, and Starbucks! lol. Then when my mom came home from work she gave me flowers and a cake too lol. So I know have 3 cakes, and 2 bouquets of flowers lol. And yearbook class gave me a really pretty necklace that I love, and 3 KING size Reese's! LOL. And Ashley gave me a super cute bikini...I can't wait till summer so I can wear it! lol and then she also gave me some peanut M&M's. It made me laugh that I got so much candy and a bikini...lets just hope I can look good in it after I eat all the candy LOL.

Birthdays

Today I went out to BJ's in Ontario with my whole family for mine and my cousin's birthdays. My cousin Becca turned 21 today, and I turn 17 on Wednesday :) It was fun, I love seeing all my family. Except Isabelle wasn't there because she was at one of her friend's birthday party lol. I got $150, a gift card for Forever 21 (Becca and I got each other the same thing lol), and my letter man's jacket! I totally didn't expect to get a letter man's jacket, that was exciting lol. And my cousin Becca asked me to be a bridesmaid today :) I'm so excited for her wedding, it's going to be so pretty lol. Then after we ate, we went over to Victoria Gardens and went to Macy's. Everyone was helping Ash and I look for prom dresses. Our "prom" is on April 25th. Ash found 2 dresses that she really likes, and I think she's going to go back to get one of them with her mom some other weekend, and I ended getting mine! I really like it. It's a fun dress, which is what I wanted because last year I did a really nice black and white dress. So I'm really excited :)
